On Saturday November 28 Burlesque institution 34B turns PHOAR! Well that’s four years in straight speak, but that would depend on if you’ve seen 20 hula hoops curl round the curves of Kira Carden, seen Amelia Wood juggle a barrel with only her stiletto and fishnet clad legs, caught a swinging light-bulb glimpse of the vampish Tasia, or seen Sarina del Fuego brush a fabulous feather fan down her body! Four years has seen some wild shows, some amazing memories and there’s much more to come! From modern Burlesque to edgy cabaret, from vaudeville comedy to classical dance and performance art, 34B has changed the nightclubbing landscape in Sydney. 34B Burlesque harks back to a more civilised and refined age where sex, society and entertainment could mix at a candle lit table with a good stiff drink and a great night of performance. Having recently groWN and GROWN moving into the main room of Q bar, 34B has a lot to celebrate as it puts the icing on 4 years of feathers, fans, tassels and tease! 34B has created the amazing Burlesque scene Sydney now enjoys and fostered the talent that has moved to New York, London and Paris – talent that still gladly comes back to the original home club to pay tribute its fantastic roots!
